In this
modern age of Free Wi-Fi, texting, emails etc, communication has never been
easier. But the Jesters Fixture Secretary relies on the old fashioned tried
and tested methods of yesteryear. There is no need to fix what isn't broke.
Semaphore, morse code and a series of bonfires lit as beacons on the hills
between Blackpool and Wyke in early February, confirmed that the Norcross
game would go ahead.
Alas the
Jesters turned up to find tumbleweed blowing across the deserted ground. The
shutters were down and locked.
Jesters
went for a drink. The words brewery and piss up spring to mind.
