APPENDAGE-

2007 dinner broke even with £50 surplus on raffle donated to Jimmy Bastow fund. i.e Ward 7 BRI.

It was asked why we did not accrue any interest from our huge balance in the bank. Steve replied that because of the small sums & the low interest rate the interest was measured in pence but pointed out that things were once different as Les Reeve's records show from 1986 that we gained £12 interest from £163.

 3) Existing fixtures to be retained. No fixture to be arranged for Wembley weekend (August bank holiday). A possibility of new fixtures at Keighley, Parkhead (Sheffield), Hepworth-Idle, Lepton & Meanwood (THE oldest fixture). Definitive fixture with Shelly & Cambridge Meths to arrange. Ollys to be kept as last years cancellation by us was caused by cup re-arrangments. It was decided to keep the Low Moor game at the end of the season, as that was the best time for it, suggestion was made of an evening twenty/20 game but doubts were raised as to the silent brotherhoods ability to organise said event. Tour to Blackpool to be arranged again, with the Norcross (non) game replaced, hopefully with a return to South Shore to see Ivon.

 4) There was some doubt as to Neil wishing to continue as v.c., If this was confirmed then Dale Winterbottom was willing to fill the role. All other officials reappointed.

  5) A move to the Bradford area for the 48th annual dinner was agreed; Caggy was going to try & book fri 3rd April at the new venue of Cleakheaton sports club. The possibility of a guest speaker in comedian Dave Greener (a friend of Dobby) was discussed. Dave to be sounded out on availability & cost.

 6) The "break with tradition" of having the AGM on a Friday proved to be a failure with only 5 people managing to attend; its back to mid week next year. The pre-ordering of soup & sarnies for 12 at a cost of £54 left us out of pocket; all donations from non-attending Chairmen & Presidents were welcome!

Ritchie Barker congratulated on making the "100 club".

Complaints were made to the skipper about the poor quality of cricket balls we were using, he promised that next season we would start to see the benefit of the recently purchased ball tampering kit & a fruitfull 2007 ball acquisition campaign!

 7) When Dobby left the room for a cafe-creme the committee hastily decided on the Tankard recipient, it wasn't Dobby!
