HISTORY

The 1st time somebody had the idea of an anniversary dinner was for the 35th which was held at the usual pre-season dinner venue, the Westleigh hotel in Bradford. The event was such a success that for the 40th anniversary a larger venue was used, the Apperley Manor, Bradford.

After the event and a big turnout the reaction was so positive that it was decided to hold the event annually. The Dragons club at Yeadon has been the venue since 2003.

A very proud moment for the skipper as he is presented with a memento (for becoming the clubs highest run-scorer) by rugby league legend John Holmes (Leeds & Great Britain & Jesters c.c.)
