 3) Existing fixtures to be retained. where possible. Jesters to discard the 3 1st appearance of the seasonclubs who let us down at short notice this season - Skipton, Pannal Ash (who adopted the "Ash"  after a fixture cancelling phantom fire) & Shepley who had sent Barrie a letter of apology. New possible fixtures were Farsley (Andrew Carter - president) & a team who play at Tong Park who approached Jim Hill (he had had a few beers!) & a return to Lepton.

3A) Coco decided we were now all to old to be erected! although he did erect  himself - luckily the Thornhill pub was still pretty quiet! - All officials reappointed as all were still alive (just).

 4) 2011 tour to be arranged in Blackpool 1 week later, From Tuesday 26th July We hope for better weather as we won't have the darts at the winter gardens to go to!

  5) It had already been decided by the dinner sub-committee to take the 50th back to Dragons in Yeadon & the 8th April has already been booked. Scottie thought more should be done to encourage people to attend so the skipper is going to put a loud speaker on top of his car & drive around Lepton announcing the event!!!!!!!!

 6) Ben suggested a possible fixture at Meanwood against a team called the "old gits"!

Scottie moaned about a) having to pay scorers & b) having to pay for a set number of teas. At Arthington we had to pay £33 but only 4 of our young team had a tea! As this is a way for clubs to raise money from a friendly Sunday fixture not much could be done about it!

c) Many thought the skippers bias towards Huddersfield was again evident as a trophy for Dale's hat-trick had been financed! It's a post code lottery!

 7) As the Tankard recipient for this year was decided at last years AGM it was a Fait Accompli. This caused cries of protest at the prospect of a Frenchman receiving this coverted award!

The meeting ended before the pub quiz started  & appearances from "Jesters" Andrew Carter & Jamie Hansen.

**** & A happy new year to all our readers  ***
