 3) Due to being let down by numerous clubs, the reluctance of current Jesters to travel far on Sundays & the amount of Sunday league cricket it was decided to reduce the number of fixtures to our regulars (reliable) & local opponents. Fixtures not to commence until the start of July.  We have been invited to take part in the QUEENS DIAMOND JUBILEE WEEKEND Twenty/20 competition at Farsley on Sunday 3 June. The Hawks, now based at Tong Park have also shown an interest in hosting us in 2012.

3A) After many years (28) sterling service Scottie has decided it's time to hang up (actually throw away) the cricket gear & retire from the game which also means giving up his treasurer duties. Stewart Dobson's arm was bent & he has agreed to utilise his accountancy skills & take up the role. Money (£275)  changed hands (under the table) to remind him of his Bradford League days!

All other officials were re-elected wether they knew it or not unopposed!

 4) The 2012 tour to be arranged in Blackpool , From Tuesday 24th July. Interest as usual at this time was high. It was hoped to play the St Annes game 1st when we were in a fit state to compete!

  5) With the 50th dinner signalling the end of the formal dinners it was suggested we have a get together for old & new players at a restaurant in Bradford (the manor). The 1st Friday in April next year is Easter; the next Friday is the 13th (Caggy is too superstitious for that date) so it had to be Friday 20th April!

 6) Caggy thanked Scottie for his efforts & Dave Bell also added that the loss of Steve & Richie Barker (emigrating to Australia) would be keenly felt. It was decided that Scottie would become a vice-president. On perusal of that list it was decided that Alex Carroll was probably dead by now! so would be removed from the list.

 7) It was decided that there was nobody suitable for this prestigious award in 2012.

The meeting ended when Caggy stood up, wished everybody goodbye & walked into the broom cupbord!

**** & A happy new year to all our readers  ***
